1. Who we are
CueTea ("CueTea", "we", "us") operates the CueTea app and website. Contact: hello@cuetea.app.
2. Agreement
These Terms are the end-user licence agreement (EULA) for CueTea. You must agree to them, and to the Community Guidelines, before you can post, reply or chat. If you got CueTea from the App Store, Apple’s standard licensed application end-user licence agreement also applies; Apple is not responsible for CueTea or its content.
3. Who can use CueTea
Verified college students aged 18 or older with a valid college email. One account per person. You may not use CueTea if we have banned you before.
4. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users
CueTea has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Do not post or send: harassment, bullying, threats or encouragement of self-harm; hate speech or slurs (including caste, religion, gender, sexuality or disability); sexual content or nudity; anything involving minors; names, phone numbers, handles or other details that identify a private person; photos or videos of people without their consent; illegal activity; spam or scams. Content that breaks these rules is removed and the people who post it are suspended or permanently banned. We review reports within 24 hours.
5. Your posts
You are responsible for what you post. Posts are anonymous to other students: we never reveal who posted, including to Pass members. We keep a private link between your account and your posts so we can enforce these Terms, and we may disclose it only when the law requires. You give CueTea a licence to host and show your posts on CueTea; you can delete them at any time.
6. Moderation, reporting and blocking
Automated filters stop names, contact details, slurs and abuse before they go live, and photos or videos may wait for review before anyone else sees them. Every post, reply, chat and profile has Report and Block. Content reported by several people is hidden automatically until a person reviews it. Blocking a poster hides their posts from you without revealing who they are.
7. Daily Pick and The Crowning
Daily Pick and The Crowning are opt-in. You only appear if you turn on "Be pickable in Daily Pick" (during sign-up or in Privacy), and you can turn it off at any time. Prompts celebrate kindness, humour, talent and character, never looks.
8. CueTea Pass
Pass unlocks See who added you. In the US, Pass is a subscription: weekly $2.99 renews every 7 days, monthly $7.99 and annual $39.99 renew on your purchase date, until cancelled. At campuses in India, Pass is sold as one-time passes in INR (Week ₹59 for 7 days, Month ₹99 for 30 days, Year ₹499 for 365 days) that never renew, plus a ₹59 pack of 3 admirer reveals. App purchases are billed and cancelled through Google Play or the App Store. On the web, Pass is billed by Dodo Payments (merchant of record) and can be cancelled in one tap in You → Your pass. Access continues to the end of the paid period. We remind you 24 hours before a weekly renewal and 3 days before monthly/annual. Admirer counts and lists include only real people who added you; we never add fake, bot or seeded admirers. When you add someone as a crush, Pass members you added may see that you added them, unless you turn on Hide me from admirer reveals in Privacy.
9. Suspension and termination
We can remove content, suspend or ban accounts that break these Terms, with or without notice. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account.
10. No warranty
CueTea is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for content posted by users or for indirect losses.
11. Changes
If we change these Terms we update the date and ask you to agree again in the app before you can keep posting.
